"When I hire you, how soon can
I expect my job to be completed?"

     I can only give you a more specific answer after I give you a questionnaire. That means, I will first need to ask you a list of questions (by phone, or by email), to better understand your market and your product. And wherever possible, I need to review your product before the questionnaire takes place.

     (Note: I cannot guarantee I'll accept your project until after I've reviewed your product and questionnaire. However, even if I don't accept your project, I'll give you a few references to copywriters who I think can help you, plus give a few pieces of advice that will help you.)

     But, as a rough estimate (based on my schedule for now) -- if I accept your project after the questionnaire, it will usually take around 3-6 weeks for your project to be completed.

     If you want your sales copy done faster than that, it can be done, but a rush fee applies. Because it means I will have to push other projects backwards in the queue, and possibly turn down other clients in order to work on your project first. And, you should also know that the quality of rush-jobs might be compromised (although I do the best job I can within the given time constraints).

"Will you do the work yourself,
or do you contract it out
to other copywriters?"

     I do all the copywriting work myself (in other words, I do not contract out my work to other copywriters.

     It depends on the project -- every project is different, so I quote fees on a project-by-project basis. (If you are interested, the best thing for you to do right now is to simply request a FREE Success Strategy Session with me.)

     But if you would like some rough ballpark estimates of my fees, you can use the below numbers as "rough" guidelines (provided I accept the project):

Writing sales letters, ads, marketing campaigns, etc. from scratch: $5,000 - $10,000
Re-writing ads and sales letters, or "beat the control" assignments $2,500 - $5,000
Critique of sales letter / ad $600
Consultation $400 per hour

     My payment terms for any writing job are as follows: 50% deposit before I start work, and the balance upon completion. I notify you when your finished sales copy is ready, and I hand you the completed sales letter immediately after the balance is paid.

     At this time I offer 45-days follow-up at no extra charge. That means if you want, I'll help you tweak and improve the letter based on test results. (I can also help you implement split-testing on your website if you want.) This is for up to 45 days after I hand you the sales copy. Of course, this requires that you actually use and drive traffic to the sales letter I wrote for you.

"But that's kinda expensive --
I can find cheaper writers"

     Yes, you can find much cheaper writers on sites such as elance.com. But I need to warn you -- practically NONE of those cheap writers are any good. They might have PhD's in English and be able to write good literature, but they have NO CLUE how to write killer sales copy that sells. (If they did, why would they be selling their services on elance.com for so cheap?)

     You know, it really shocks me to see how people will spend thousands of dollars to develop a product... then turn into penny-pinchers when it comes to sales copy. It's like spending all your time and money building a rocket, then refusing to provide the rocket fuel needed to get it off the ground.

     In fact, one success secret of smart marketers is they NEVER scrimp on the sales copy -- they always hire the best copywriter they can afford.
